This is a one piece billet aluminum alloy brake backing plate that replaces the stock steel bar and stamped aluminum cover used on most CZ MX bikes. These backing plates weigh the same as the stock two pieces but is a much thicker/stronger component that looks very trick and performs even better. The backing plate features, one piece billet construction, 6061 T6 aluminum alloy, two piece shouldered bushing for the brake cam, o-ring seal in the brake cam bushing, new highly corosion resistent nitronic stainless steel brake shoe pivot/brake stay mount, and new self locking fastener for the brake stay, bead blasted finish, and a cool raised CZ logo! The stock backing plate setup used on CZ's have long been a sore spot, and if you are a CZ guy, you will know what I am talking about - bent, dented, worn through, flexing, scraps when it rolls, center plate bowed from use... Now you can do something about it. When making our replacement for the stock pieces we decided to make extra's but at this point we have a limited qauntity so don't miss out.
