When I lay there after the crash (& after getting my breath), I asked
if I fell from like 3 feet (didn't want to exaggerate) and they all stared
at me and said, 'no, more like 10-12 feet'! It was a miracle I rode off
the mountain. Apparently when I was flying through the air, my husband
was wondering how life flight could land with all the trees around. So
basically, I hit panic mode going down the hill and rather than grabbing
my clutch, I grabbed the throttle. On top of that, I took a left which
happened to be the biggest jump on the mountain and went for a launch!
Once I realized I could breath, and all the parts worked, I said, 'I'm
still riding on Sunday'! |
