SCORING • for the Race Day
Olympic Style scoring: both motos count, low score wins, afternoon main breaks a tie in points total.

Q: What if the fastest rider laps the guy behind you (but not YOU) and then takes the checkered flag?
A: the Scorers know what they're doing; don't sweat it. But they have to concentrate, and that is why you never go into the tower on Race Day

Q: Do I have to have a Silencer & three number plates?
A:
YES. and they have to be legible- Scotch® Tape on a white background won't do it..

Q: When do I need to get there?
A:
Smart Riders are AT the track at 8am or earlier, and are suited up and ready to go at the Rider's Meeting, which is at 8:30am. Practice afterwards.

Q: Is it OK to test ride the bike without a Helmet?
A:
Of course not. You'll be starting backwards on the starting-gate if you're caught.

Hammer & Tongs rules - Championship €
to qualify for Hig
h Points (class championship) you must attend four of the six 2009 Summer Races, Washougal required .

For VDR & H&T attend means you enter the class in question and do at least one full lap. In
this case you get no points for the day, no points toward the championship, but you ATTENDED that race.

Hammer & Tongs Championship POINTS •
A New Points system will determine series class champions
based solely on moto finish
regardless of number of entries or the day's result.

This means that two racers who finish 2-1
and 1-2 have the same points.

The first one will win the trophy for that day, but in terms of season points they are equal.

take a look at this points table -
example: a 2-3 finish to a day gets the rider 29 points.
