VINTAGE DIRT RACING NW • Season Finale

Evolution Start at the Season Finale • April 30th Woodland

Russ Hoehn, double VDR Champion, bar to bar with Dale Stevens in +50 Intermediate.

VDR Round 8 • WOODLAND • April 30th • The Season Finale was held at Woodland the last day of April. 342 entries. Not bad! • The track used the long bypassed NE corner, which many were delighted with- lots of feedback. • The 100 Class had 11 entrants. Hodaka CEO flew out from Rhode Island to compete in the 100cc Class along with Harry Taylor, now 70 years old. • A few classes featured VERY close battles for the Championships involved. Father & son Mark & Andrew Sullivan tied for the 250 Vintage, Charlie Branstetter & Gary Down tied for the 125 Vintage, and the Championship was decided by number of wins. • The weather was perfect (again) track surface was just right. • The biggest Class was 250 Evolution Amateur in which there were 14 entrants. Biggest Vintage Class was +50 which sported 12 riders. •
