AHRMA's "Northwest" Region has hitherto been the west coast, but in 2006 this will likely change.

We are very pleased to have been asked to form a new Region, and so, to make it official, a proposal was drafted by Dirk Williams, the text of which can be seen below.

A team has been assembled to get the job done, and set a new standard. We have been working efficiently & unobtrusively together for some months. The point of the Team is to get stuff done. Get Tracks, get dates, get sponsors organized, descide how to accomodate everyone in our scene. Even our adversaries. And IF the schedules for VDR, Hammer & Tongs, Ahrma PacNW, and Hodaka Days all of were to be being scheduled from under one roof, there won't be any left hand/right hand scheduling conflicts as there have been in the past.

The Team includes Roger Landberg, Len Lowery, Jim Conway, Lyndell Raphael, Bill Grubin, Jay Lael, Tom McAllister, Scott McAllister (no relation) Charlie Branstetter, Steve Clark, Matthew Sullivan, Stu Osborn, Hellfire, Mark Schmidt, CJ Hoover, Bill Cappel, Bob Walberg, Dirk Williams and Siege. We are all Northwest racers. Some ride Vintage Riders, some ride Evo, some (Bill, Roger, Siege, Dirk, Lyndell & Jay) ride both.

Of course it takes everyone to get everything together, and anyone willing to be part of it will be welcomed.

For 2005 (this summer) Post Vintage Ahrma Riders will be guests at Hammer & Tongs. (May 29 Alderdale, July 24 Port Angeles & August 28 Eddieville {Goldendale}) with a 4th Ahrma Round at Spokane on July 2nd. We will run both H&T Classes AND Ahrma Classes. We will run the Ahrma Classes in the Hammer & Tongs Classes that each bike would fit into, so (for example) Historic 250, GP250 & Ultima 250 will run with Evo 250.
