I took a 1979 (new to me) bike, plus three days of practice, and lots of conditioning.
That got me a broken footpeg, damaged side plastic, a broken clutch lever and a weird front brake noise.
With the overall result being a shellacking at the races.

And you know what! I can't wait to get back out there for practice and
my next race. At one point mid-race I was smiling and thinking, this is a hell of a lot of fun.
See you in October, if not out practicing before then.
